VENUE SELECTION · DAVOS & KLOSTERS
Compare Davos venues.
Without mistaking a picture for permission.
Bring two real venue proposals. Rate them on delivery evidence, access and commercial terms. See the weighting, spot the unknowns and take an actionable checklist to the property owner.
An attractive address is not an executable event plan.
VENUE DUE DILIGENCECOMPARISON STUDIO
Rate what you can actually evidence.
1 means materially weak or unproven. 5 means a strong fit supported by relevant information. The published weights are a buyer-side starting point, not a certification.
This runs only in your browser. We do not receive your venue names, ratings or budgets. The scores express your selections and are not venue facts, confirmation of licences, availability, safety or a provider endorsement.
THE NON-NEGOTIABLES
A high score cannot override missing permission.
The calculator deliberately will not recommend two venues whose permitted-use evidence remains unconfirmed. Even a venue marked “confirmed” needs the actual written permission, contracted dates and use conditions independently reviewed.
- Annual-meeting week: check the latest Davos municipal restrictions for structures, branding and temporary event uses; do not generalise one year's rules to the next.
- Other Davos dates: verify the relevant venue use, access, staffing and emergency obligations for that event and season.
- Contract stage: review responsibility for snow disruption, supplier substitution, payments, cancellation and reinstatement in writing.

BEFORE PROCUREMENT
Turn the comparison into a brief suppliers can answer.
Once the venue has passed the initial screen, ask competing suppliers to quote against the same guest count, build/access windows, production specification, operating hours and cancellation assumptions. That is how you stop a superficially cheap room becoming an expensive programme.
