DAVOS EVIDENCE DESK · LAST REVIEW 27 OCTOBER 2026

Davos changes.
Your planning assumptions should too.

An attributed operating-information register for companies planning corporate events and independent activations. Every item explains the original source, what it establishes and which buyer decision it changes.

NOT AN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FEED

Each fact needs a date and a decision.

A hotel venue can be superbly equipped and still be wrong for your booking. A published municipal report can explain a real restriction without telling you whether your specific structure is authorised.

This register distinguishes historical published decisions from current operator descriptions, so a reader knows what is evidence—and what still requires a written answer from a venue or authority.

PUBLIC OPERATING EVIDENCE

Read the source itself before making a contractual or legal decision. Publication and review dates are not guarantees that the underlying situation remains unchanged.

Temporary-build quota for the 2027 annual meeting

Keystone-SDA reported 190 applications, 146 projects assessed within the quota process, 21 refused and 125 remaining with approvals subject to the quota. These are temporary-building permissions, not a cap on events or guest invitations.

What to verify now: Before proposing a new branded structure, obtain the property's specific approved plans, permissible use and named consenting authority.

Sanctions for temporary structures and operating breaches

Keystone-SDA reported approximately 60 alleged 2026 breaches and 36 fines issued at the time of the article. Reported examples included out-of-hours deliveries, fire-safety failures and construction without permission.

What to verify now: Ask a supplier who owns permits, delivery windows, fire protection, site supervision and a breach escalation procedure.

World Economic Forum 2027 meeting dates

The official Davos Congress Centre listing schedules the annual meeting for 18–22 January 2027. The meeting is separately organised by the World Economic Forum. Privately hosted programmes have separate hosts and access policies.

What to verify now: Confirm guest invitations, independent venue agreement and a practical format for those particular dates; do not imply official credentials.

Convention Bureau publicly describes free venue/offer coordination

Davos Convention Bureau describes a free consolidated availability-and-option-date service for meeting planners, along with independent venue advice.

What to verify now: Request a dated operator-confirmed option expiry, exact seating layout, current rental/commission terms and the contracting entity.

Davos Services separates free hotel enquiries from event fees

The official service description offers support for transfers, activities, accommodation and events. A processing fee based on total event value applies to tailored incentive/event services.

What to verify now: Check the fee, included service lines, subcontractors, event support hours and cancellation terms instead of assuming free delivery.

CASE EVIDENCE

What is a real Davos event case study?

A publicly documented example should name who actually delivered the event, when it took place and which claims are operator-reported rather than independently verified.

For example, Davos Services publishes an account of a 2018 incentive trip for Innflow AG. It describes a group of about 50 and a programme adapted for skiing and non-skiing attendees. This is Davos Services' own historical case account—not work by Davos Brand Activation or Pearl Lemon Experiences, and not a verified performance benchmark for other suppliers.

Our own portfolio will be added only with client permission, dated delivery evidence and defensible outcome measures. Until then, no invented case histories or quotes.

FUTURE PROOF

How a permanent intelligence library stays credible.

  1. Always preserve the original source. Each decision entry keeps its publishing institution and date.
  2. Re-check seasonal facts. Confirm annual meeting dates and permit rules from authorities before reusing them in another year.
  3. Do not automate certainty. Changes in source pages trigger review; a missing response cannot be reinterpreted as cancelled availability.
  4. Add real observations. Property visits, supplier quotes and completed event outcomes can enrich the register only after permission and verification.

Last manual source review: 27 October 2026. This is independent industry research, not legal guidance, official municipality advice or WEF information.
