PRIVATE HOSPITALITY · DAVOS 2027

Host the breakfast worth getting up for.

An executive breakfast during Davos week can be an economical use of senior attention when the guest list is focused, the venue already suits the format and everyone knows exactly when the conversation ends.

WHEN IT MAKES SENSE

Morning access is only useful if the conversation is.

A dozen carefully invited decision-makers can use a 60–75 minute breakfast more effectively than a crowded reception. But only when the topic is specific and the audience has an authentic reason to attend.

Breakfast works particularly well for a closed-door industry question, a small client advisory discussion or an investor-hosted conversation. It works poorly as a disguised product presentation with no clear guest value.

The World Economic Forum's 2027 Annual Meeting is scheduled for 18–22 January, but independent breakfast hosts set their own dates and invitees. Official event dates.

THE REAL BRIEF

Four things to get right.

Choose the room only after you know who needs to attend and what they must be able to do there.

01

The invitation

Give a senior guest a specific question or decision worth an early start. A breakfast is not a substitute for a coherent audience thesis.

02

The room

Ask about winter arrivals, accessible entrance, coat storage, acoustic privacy, seated capacity and whether the venue can serve without interrupting discussion.

03

The service

Keep coffee and food predictable. Confirm service time, dietary collection, staffing, heating, setup and the latest permissible load-in before signing.

04

The exit

Protect a hard finish. Provide a clear follow-up owner and allow guests to reach their next appointment without rushing the last conversation.

ILLUSTRATIVE RUN OF SHOW

Seventy-five minutes, with room to breathe.

This is a proposed operating example—not a confirmed booking, timetable or previous Davos event.

  1. 07:15Preparation

    Hosts and service ready

Confirm breakfast setup, dietary requests, seating, temperature, check-in and the day's escalation contact.

  2. 07:45Arrivals

    Guests arrive individually

Welcome with a named host, offer breakfast and make first introductions before the formal discussion.

  3. 08:00Conversation

    One sharp question

Brief introduction, guided discussion, time for differing views and practical next steps. No long slide presentation.

  4. 09:00Close

    Leave on time

Agree who follows up; allow a few minutes for coats, departures and separate conversations.

COMPARE FORMATS

Breakfast, dinner or roundtable?

Choose a breakfast when the guest's morning diary and a concise business conversation are the main advantages. Choose a dinner when hospitality and relationship depth require more time. Choose a roundtable when structured exchange matters more than a meal.

All formats depend on a real venue, qualified supplier, host and guest invitation process. We make no claim to an available room or guaranteed senior attendee.
