Explore the practical guide ↗A PRACTICAL BUYER'S BRIEF
A house can host a full week of meetings, interviews and evening hospitality. It can also become an expensive constraint if the permitted use, staffing or access windows do not match the programme. These are the decisions to settle before a deposit.
Request the address, contracting party, authorised dates, normal occupancy, proposed branding and any temporary alterations in writing. Ask who is responsible for fire safety, noise, catering, security and approvals. A photo of a previous activation does not establish permission for your project.
Separate the rental from build and removal, furniture, technology, staff accommodation, security, food service, insurance, cleaning, utilities, deposits and restoration. Compare the same operating days and payment milestones across all quotations.
Preserve the intended executive meetings first. A sequence of booked private rooms, dinners and a small interview studio may serve the objective with fewer moving parts. Re-check each alternative rather than assuming existing commercial premises are exempt from permissions.
